At the end of the day, you can also have a relaxing evening at the university cinema, where you can watch the original version of the movie Poor Things. There will be popcorn and admission is free.

Welcome event of the 3rd day. Directly afterwards, different cultural groups of KIT present themselves, among them of course the Fachschaft, but also the AStA, Physikertheater, jDPG and many more. Those who want to immerse themselves in the life of Karlsruhe have good chances to learn the first steps here. Additional group time for registering for university sports, picking up KIT cards, showing Lernschlösschen and Physics-Bib, Nextbike accounts, ...

Various excursions are organized in groups. The offers are wide-ranging, from bike tours and a city tour to a scavenger hunt (Mister X) and laser tag. A separate registration is also required for this, which will be activated on Monday.

Physicist Theater Open Rehearsal. Theater enthusiasts are welcome!

Open student council meeting, everyone is allowed to attend! An insight into the daily work of our valuable student council is given, discussed and voted on.

In the evening, a cosy games night will be organized in the physics department, where you can take part in a range of different board games. From “Werewolf” to “Who am I” and “Powerpoint Karaoke” to Dungeons & Dragons (DnD), everything is on offer and the evening is open-ended. Please register for the Dungeons & Dragons (DnD) rounds as we only have a limited number of places.

Welcome event of the 4th day. Directly afterwards, students from higher semesters will present the different minor subjects. Those are an important part of the physics bachelor's degree at KIT and should serve to open the view for other subject areas.

More group time for remaining questions and visits. There is always something left over.

'What is it actually like to be a professor? What does your work consist of? And do you actually breathe air?' Many such questions can be asked of various professors at this extremely popular event in a pleasant atmosphere, with coffee and cake. Students and professors are equally welcome to this event - and in this way the great distance that initially exists between the two groups can be reduced somewhat.

In preparation for the upcoming party, the different groups can now visit pubs once again to fortify themselves for the evening.

The most spectacular night of the week! Here we go to the Kroko-Keller to celebrate this year's O-Phase. A DJ is on site and will be spinning for us all night long. Celebrate the best week of the year with us!

After a good dose of sleep, we offer you a veal sausage breakfast where you can start the day together. Vegan alternatives are available. A donation is requested, as this breakfast is organized by the tutors at self-cost.

For early birds: Short guided tour (approx. 1h) through the Scientific Computing Center (SCC) of the KIT. The SCC is responsible for the central infrastructure of the KIT and is certainly worth a look. Registration for this event is necessary as places are limited. Registration opens on Monday, 14.10.2024. In addition, there is also a later guided tour at 14:00. Meeting point is in the foyer of the SCC, building (20.20). Please note the following information: In the event of a fire alarm, leave the server rooms calmly and orderly. Do not leave the marked area and stay together as a group. Taking photographs is not permitted. Servers make noise. Do not touch any devices or similar!

Traditional final event of the O-Phase. We used to have a barbecue, but today we're having pizza together instead, accompanied by music from the Ersti-Band. Have a great time with music and eat pizza!
