Hello dear prospective students,
You want to start studying physics, geophysics, meteorology or teaching physics at KIT in the winter semester 2023/2024? Then you are at the right place! We, the physics student council, are a group of students who work voluntarily for the interests of our fellow students. In addition to planning festivities, advisory services, and an extensive protocol distribution service, we also organize the orientation phase each year especially for first-year students in order to make the often overwhelming start to their studies as easy as possible. Surely you have a lot of questions as well:
What lectures do I need to take? What does my schedule look like? Which textbooks are recommended? Where are the lecture halls, cafeteria, library? Are there any good restaurants nearby? And what else is going on in Karlsruhe besides studying?
In addition to answers to all these questions, the O-Phase offers you a campus tour, exciting excursions around Karlsruhe, a first insight into research at KIT, and the opportunity to meet new friends for your studies - a busy schedule!
It starts on Monday, 16.10.2023 at 9:30 am in front of the Physik-Flachbau. The whole thing will last until Friday, 20.10.2023. For us as the organization team, it is very important to know how many people want to participate in the O-Phase. Therefore we need your registration! You can do that easily here on the website!
See you there!
